A Credit Card Built for Riders
AEON built this card specifically for motorcyclists. So, instead of rewarding shopping at AEON's own stores the way its Member Plus cards do, this one pays you back on spare parts, accessories, workshop bills, petrol, and motor insurance.
How the Cashback Works
Cashback is split into four tiers, depending on what you're spending on:
- 5% on spare parts, accessories, merchandise, and motor servicing (MCC codes 5532, 5533, and 5571)
- 2% on petrol (MCC 5541 and 5542), capped at RM15 a month
- 2% on insurance transactions (MCC 5960 and 6300), capped at RM15 a month
- 0.5% on everything else you buy on the card, except e-wallet top-ups
Across all categories combined, including spending on your supplementary and virtual card, you can earn up to RM50 in cashback per month, credited to your account the following month.
Other Perks
Beyond cashback, cardholders get complimentary travel insurance covering accidental death, permanent total disablement, and ambulance fees, up to RM4,000. You'll also get a virtual card you can activate and use right away through the AEON Wallet app, so you're not stuck waiting for the physical card to arrive.
There are exclusive privileges at select motorcycle dealers and merchandise stores, including access to biking events and rallies.
On the everyday side, the card comes with contactless payment, discounts at around 250 partner merchants for dining, travel, fitness, and beauty, and an instant-approval Consumer Durable Easy Payment scheme. That lets you pay for big purchases at over 5,000 merchants over up to 36 months (48 months for gold, jewellery, and watches) from as low as 0.85% a month, without touching your available credit limit.
Annual Fee and Finance Charges
The annual fee is RM95 for the principal card and RM60 for a supplementary card, waived in your first year. After that, it's waived again as long as you, combined with any supplementary cardholder, spend at least RM10,000 in the year.
If you carry a balance, finance charges follow AEON's usual tiered structure: 15% p.a. if you've paid at least the minimum on time for 12 straight months, 17% p.a. for 10 or more months in the last 12, or 18% p.a. if you haven't hit either bar, calculated daily. Pay your statement in full and on time, and you get 20 interest-free days on retail purchases; cash advances don't get this grace period and cost 18% p.a. plus a 5% fee (minimum RM15) per withdrawal.
